Dr. Maite Pintado

Dr. Maite “Mimi” Pintado has been caring for pets and their families since 2008. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she knew from a young age that veterinary medicine was her calling. She began her career as a veterinary nurse after earning her degree in Puerto Rico and later moved to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Mimi earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her diverse professional background includes experience in exotic and zoo medicine, dermatology, emergency and intensive care, general practice, and compassionate in-home end-of-life care.

She especially values the relationships she builds with pets and their families and is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate care throughout every stage of a pet’s life.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Mimi enjoys spending time with her own fur babies, family, and friends. She loves reading, music, nature, traveling, football, and—proudly—being a Disney Adult!

Dr. Mimi is excited to join the Graceful Paws Veterinary Clinic family and looks forward to caring for our wonderful patients and the people who love them.
